Stories and Poems and Prose, oh My! Welcome to House Andronnai's creative section. Here you will find stories filled with adventure, romance and even a few villains. Poems filled with prose and rhyme. And most of all, a grand display of our creative members. In Greek mythology, the Muses are a sisterhood of goddesses or spirits, they are the daughters of Zeus, king of the gods, and Mnemosyne, goddess of memory. Their number set at nine by Classical times, who embody the arts and inspire the creation process with their graces through remembered and improvised song and stage, writing, traditional music, and dance. They were water nymphs, associated with the springs of Helicon and with Pieris, from which they are sometimes called the Pierides. The nine sisters were known as Calliope- Muse of Epic Song, Clio- the Muse of History, Euterpe- the Muse of Lyric Song, Thalia- Muse of comedy and bucolic poetry, Melpomene- Muse of tragedy, Terpsichore- Muse of dance, Erato- Muse of erotic poetry, Polyhymnia- Muse of sacred song and Urania- Muse of astronomy. And here we honor those whom have been inspired by what ever power we choose to give it. Through our creativity, we share our thoughts, ideas and stories with you. Through they very from game to game, and from topic to topic, we hope that you enjoy them and check back often to see any new works we have done.
