Since it don\'t seem like Adobe is gonna fix Flash anytime soon for Vista 64 (known issue, has been for a while), I have finally found a fix! This issue might not affect everyone, but it did me! Flash played very choppy and sometimes made background applications run alot slower, and in some cases made Firefox slow to a crawl. Adobe has known about this issue for a while now, yet still have not fixed it. Anyway, here is a very simple and easy fix: 1) Navigate to C:\\Windows\\SysWOW64\\Macromed\\Flash 2) Right click FlashUtil9f.exe and click Run As Administrator (even if logged in as admin) 3) Follow on screen instructions to update Flash 4) Restart computer That should fix it! I guess it has something to do with Flash not correctly writing registry values in Vista 64, but if you run it like said above it will correct that and write the values correctly. Here is hoping Flash 10 gets these issues fixed, but so far Flash 10 beta is still having the same issue.
